Rovaniemi candies and jellies are crafted by Annelin Yrtit & Karkit Oy. The company’s founder and driving force, Anneli Tahvonen, is a passionate developer of herbal and berry-based products. The business has operated in Rovaniemi for 30 years and uses only wild-harvested or organically grown herbs and berries in its products. These items are currently available exclusively at the Osviitta service point, located at Koskikatu 19.

Tilhi Mushroom Knife

In our Tilhi Mushroom Knife, the recognizable shape of the waxwing (Tilhi) meets a top-quality mushroom knife. This beautiful piece was created by Rovaniemi-based artisan and designer Heikki Alakulppi in Viirinkylä, at the foot of the Kivalo fells. The knife is not only a high-quality, handcrafted gift for mushroom foragers, but also a thoughtfully designed tool.

A handcrafted cutting board made from Finnish birch, shaped to reflect Rovaniemi’s visual identity. Treated with linseed oil, this striking board also works beautifully as a serving tray. ILAHU Jätkänkynttilä Snow Surfboard

Snow surfboards made by Treeform, a company based in Rovaniemi, represent Arctic design where functionality meets elegant form. The Jätkänkynttilä board, crafted from Finnish birch, features shapes and patterns inspired by the City of Rovaniemi’s brand identity. Each board is individually numbered and signed by its maker, master carpenter Jan Leutola.
